constant high ping for italians only

ok now i have to say it, i am sure its not just an "italian thing" even tho i know our connections suks, but now im sure thats a server issue.
i have normal ping on any other servers around, just on Core i have 100/120 ping everytime.
I see all other italians got the same, for example calimero which is playing always with 100 ping like me.
I always had a bad ping on core 50/60 and i dont care, but i cannot handle it anymore because its 100.. its not fun its like play with Hana from USA!! so if it stay like it is i have to play away from my core mates.

is it possible to take a look and fix it?

This is not a server related issue, if so everyone should have high pings. And that's not the case. It's just bad routing to the server.

the same happened to me some years back, when i traced my ping it went to eastern europe before netherlands

some issue in Oslo   but after a week it was normal

    I did the same but my wife put it round my neck,works fine now.

I can confirm that problems are not just from Italy. Im from Croatia on local Vipnet (Vodafone) provider. In my case, beleive it or not, high ping isn't always the reason for lag. So one day ping 56 gives me great game, other day ping 40 - cant hit none, even its obvious pure and clean shots.

I think that reason for high ping on some evenings lies in bad uplinks. Use tracert from command prompt to find out which router is causing higher latency, but so far your provider is the cause, because their international uplinks are 2 busy, or they use cheap uplinks from tier2 or tier3. So if hosted server stays where it is now, probably no other options to choose but complaining to your provider about high latency in international connections (probably you'll achieve nothing) and second/last option is to change your provider (in Croatia on can get better ping results via T-Com or Metronet).

But, I must mention some ingame problems from the beginning (aim/shots), that are not related only to ping on my side, since some players (most of the time they are the same few) are very hard to kill compared to other that can receive shots as normal. These 'very hard to kill players' do have pings from 12 to 44, but I'm guessing its not something to do with ping only. In short, you can see players statistic that is above any other player on server, like 13 players have ratio of 20 kills : 15 killed/died, and 'super player' has statistics of 30 kills : 5 killed/died. So all other players on server got some hard time to shoot them.
To shoot this fella down you can forget about super aim abilities and any other technique proved on other players to be the best, so the only left tech that gives some satisfaction is to spam them with flak/rox and other stuff in massive amounts. And god, that's frustrating and ruins the game.

I don't know are these guys cheating with some kind of NIC packet priority hack or else... maybe they don't do anything, but they are in obvious advanced position compared to other majority. Can something be done (on server) about that?

Its common dizzy.  last 6 to 12 months young "pro" low ping players have been dominating the server. dawkins, our blackie, kron(nork) ect.

so its just tough luck for us  they are faster and have better ping.
but i just apple them like i did with you yesterday

i know for a fact that we are getting older, and outdated compared to the new breed of players age 15-to 25 all living next door to server.

most of the grew up with iphones computer gaming
and its easy to blame it all on ping, but the fact is most of us are 30/+ years old
and cant keep up annymore.

but ping will always be an issue, and theres really nothing to do with it

look at ganjaman, he moved from italy to england to have lower ping, witch he now does.
but he stil plays shit due to his old age and noobishness in this game.
40+ years just wont do it in this game. even 30+ for that matter

So i apple them feckers  because i know they hate it

play with us on freon2 instead its pw(core members obviously can just enter with no pw)
and play with us ladies.  more fun and less players
